Roy's Caribbean Cuisine

About

Roy’s Caribbean Restaurant opened to great reviews on October 6, 2016 in downtown Schenectady at 769 State Street. Roy, the owner, whose background in the Ministry of Works in Jamaica, gave him the experience to architecturally design and construct restaurants. He renovated the Schenectady building into Roy’s fourth brand new restaurant concept. At Roy’s Caribbean Restaurant, the Jerk seasoning is available on chicken, pork, salmon, the fish of the day and even the zesty and tender-meat-fall-off-the-bone wings. The curry goat is a filling dish of chunks of incredibly tender meat stewed in a Jamaican curry sauce. Roy’s Caribbean Restaurant has all the Jamaican classics dinners, like; Callaloo and Codfish, Ackee Saltfish, Curry Chicken, Stewed Beef, Oxtails, Cow Foot, Roti (Curry Chicken or Curry Goat), and Pan Grilled Fish Escovitch to name a few!
